On November 24, 2021, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China released the fifth batch of names for National Industrial Design Centers, and CATHAYA Group's Industrial Design Center was recognized for its leading design capabilities in the field of silk and its deep integration of technological innovation and industrial design. As a result, it became the first "National Industrial Design Center" in the silk industry of Zhejiang Province. By enhancing product added value and strengthening core competencies of enterprises, the center promotes the sustainable and healthy development of the industry, as well as the transformation and upgrading of industrial structures.
